We are excited at the prospect of having you as one of our FOOD VENDORS for Gilligan's Shipwrecked Event and we look forward to the possibility of you supplying guests with your delicious food selections.
Shipwrecked at Gilligan's is being held from Boxing Day to New Years Day – where patrons are going to entertain you from Sunrise to Sunset. On Saturday 29 December Gilligan's are opening the doors and the poolside deck to local food vendors to feed the masses.
We’re looking for stalls, displays and food vendors to join us.
Spaces are strictly limited and due to it being a pop-up food event we will not be allowing duplicates of stall/vendor types and as Gilligan's has a licensed bar we will not be taking stall/vendors who only sell beverages and are asking stall/vendors to not sell beverages as part of their menu.
We expect 300 – 500 ticket holders across the day. The majority of these attendees will be staying onsite for the entire weekend, however, the event is open to the general public also.
Each stall/vendor space comes with access passes to the Gilligan's. Additional passes for workers that you may require will be available at a discounted rate closer to the festival.
FOOD vendor RATES
A full day rate is $100+ GST and upon application, you will have 7 days to make full payment to secure your site.
Cancellation 15 December 2018 a full refund minus an $30 administration fee (with valid reason)
Cancellation 15 - 25 December 2018 50% refund (with valid reason)
Cancellation 25 December – Event Date 2018 No refund
SATURDAY 29 December – 12.00 noon - 8pm.
Your application is not confirmed until full payment has been received. There is a high demand for vendor opportunities at Gilligan's Shipwrecked Event; therefore it is advised to get in early to secure your position as we will reach capacity.
The stall/vendor will be allocated a allocated a number of wristbands/lanyards depending on the number of staff. ALL STAFF MUST WEAR A WRISTBAND/LANYARD during bump in, duration of the even and bump out. Lost wristbands will not be replaced - you will be required to purchase new wristbands at the entrance.
CHANGE / CASH
Please bring enough cash for your floats for the duration of the day. There are access to ATM's in the CBD as Gilligan's will not be able to assist with small change.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
You MUST arrive and commence bump in at 6.00pm on Friday 28 December to set up your infrastructure and receive stock deliveries. Any late arrivals will be refused entry as this is necessary for our permit requirements and a serious public safety issue.
ALL vendors must be ready to trade by 12 noon, as this is when the entertainment officially commences. Power will be available as of Saturday morning.
You MUST stay on site until 8 pm on the day and ready to pack up and bump out at 8.30pm.
You MUST vacate the site by 9 pm at the latest. This is a permit condition – please respect it. Power for caterers will be switched off at 8 pm on the day.
